Deli Associate

**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of deli items, including sandwiches, salads, and pies
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed in the kitchen area
- Assist customers in selecting deli products and provide recommendations
- Operate deli equipment, such as slicers and ovens, following safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately
- Upsell additional deli items or promotional offers to customers
- Monitor inventory levels and restock deli products as needed
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency in food quality

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a kitchen or deli environment is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and recipe measurements
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
