Agora Talent are exclusively partnering with a leading fashion brand on their search for an Assistant Finance Analyst. This is an opportunity to join a talented finance team in a dynamic role with exposure to multiple business units. Reporting into the UKHead Office Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the UK Head Office with their costs, budgeting and reporting.

Whilst initially a 6 month contract, this role is likely to convert into a permanent position and would ideally suit someone studying for a professional accounting qualification or with at least 2 years of experience working within a fast paced finance function.

The Role:

- Assisting the Senior Finance Analyst with UK Head office, Wholesale and other revenues encompassing all budgeting, forecasting and month end reporting
- Assisting Senior Finance Analyst with monthly business partnering with senior heads of the business to deliver Head Office spend
- Assisting in the preparation of the budget for central costs and challenging the assumptions made
- Quarterly reforecasting for HO, wholesale and licence income
- Ownership of calculating and invoicing monthly/quarterly royalties due from Licensees
- Month-end postings for wholesale and Licence income, ensuring timely delivery of results and explaining any material variances
- Assisting with Board pack commentary for wholesale and Licence income, explaining all variances against budget
- Completion of all balance sheet recs on a timely basis
- Assisting with audit queries and liaising with auditors to ensure complete compliance
- Compiling and analysing data as required to support business decision making and assisting the UK Managers with adhoc analysis

About You:

- Strong IT skills especially excel including pivots/vlookups/sumifs/index and match
- Strong accounting experience including periodic journals, balance sheet reconciliations
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Preferably part-qualified or studying towards a professional accountancy qualification
