Bookeeper

**Overview**

Whitesmith Ltd is an electrical supplier and wholesaler based in Atherton, Greater Manchester. Trading since 1961 providing electrical supplies to both trade and public.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage day to day accounts
- Prepare and send invoices to clients
- Reconcile accounts using accounting software such as Sage is a must
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Communicate with clients to address any account-related queries or issues
- Compiling and submission of year end accounts **(essential)**
- Experience in weekly payroll
- Experience in VAT submissions
- 37 hours per week (office based)

**Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in accounting software Sage
- Experience in managing small accounts
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
