Supply Chain Logistics Planner

Morson Talent are delighted to be working with an organisation in the Safety & Security sector who require a Supply Chain Logistics Planner to join their existing team on a 3-month contract with chance of extension. The logistics Planner will be initiallybased out of their Blackburn office working a hybrid model of 2/3 days per week for the first month and then developing into a remote role. Hours can be flexible as long as the core working hours are worked and on call for any necessary meetings.
**Responsibilities**:
- To complete all aspects of inventory planning for a range of products, service spares and ancillaries.
- Filing queries from suppliers, pricing and liaising internally for best course of action
- To prepare weekly inventory monitoring and KPI reports.
- Liaising with the purchasing team to ensure vendor performance issues, supply problems and price increases are resolved in a timely manner
Skills & Experience:
- Good use and understanding of Microsoft Office Tolls and Excel
- Ideally coming form a Supply Chain or Logistics Background
- Ideally experience in inventory organisation and planning
- Excellent coordination skills
- Self-starter who can be autonomous and doesn’t have to work with constant supervision
- Can Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with Customers and Suppliers
- Attention to detail, ensuring accurate data delivered to agreed timescales
