An exciting opportunity has arisen with a well-known Financial Services business for a Data Science Manager to join a growing team.
You will be leading a team of technical specialists who are experts in all things data science across Customer and CRM.
This is a unique opportunity for someone to take a step away from the day to day hands on work of a Data Scientist, and move your career to the next level where you will channel your technical knowledge and experience in to bigger strategic projects andleading a high performing team.
- Establishing a center of excellence for data science and machine learning
- Using your experience to identify opportunities for collaborative projects using industry leading best-practice
- Coach a team who are delivering true value from data through modelling and insights
- Creating a challenging and supportive, hard-working environment, offering development and career progression
- Champion data and drive the evolution of analytics and data science culture through the business
- Leading the design and delivering of various customer solutions - personalisation, life time value modelling, churn analysis etc.
**What do you need?**
- A background in Data Science and Customer/CRM
- Experience working in retail or financial services is desirable but not essential
- Proven record of using analysis to design, drive and deliver business strategy
- Team leadership, coaching and mentoring experience
- Strong understanding of data science techniques - when to use and how to implement
- Previous experience / understanding of open sources technologies (r, Python)
