**The Role - Class 1 HGV Night Driver**:
This Class 1 HGV Driver role involves working directly for our customer, on contract.

Our client’s will be your point of contact for all operational work; however, we will be your point of contact should you have any issues with the truck, what the customer is asking of you or if you wanted to ask any other questions, we would be happy tohelp answer these

You would be pulling our trailer throughout the week, doing various deliveries and collections per night. These jobs are mainly business to business deliveries/ collections using pallet trucks or forklifts to off and on load. No pallets over 750kg are tobe lifted via pallet truck.

We expect all tachograph hours to be followed by the letter of the law and any defects on your vehicle to be advised on your defect sheet or reported to the office if unroadworthy.

ADR in packages is required

The trucks available is a Volvo FH4 with a DVS system fitted to it.

**Outline of the work - Class 1 HGV Night Driver**:

- This logistics role is based on 7-hours per night shift with 6pm starts, Mon-Fri evening with no nights out.
- If you come back to the depot after completing your run and the customer asks you to do something further, you will be expected to carry out this work - this isn't regular but worth mentioning
- This Class 1 HGV Driver role involves palletised transportation work using a curtain sided trailer, doing multiple drops per night to commercial premises across Essex, Kent, London and other areas in the Southeast.
- Of an evening you would be expected to put your card in, do your walk round checks, go up to the office to get your consignments for the day, then head down to your allocated bay in the warehouse, check your load against the consignment notes, secure theload as necessary and then commence driving.
