Welcome to MyGamingDirect - we are an online retailer (mainly on eBay) that sells gaming products and accessories. Where we are a little bit different is that our stock comes from customer returns, ex store displays and write offs and liquidation's. We have a need to hire someone to head up the "seller refurbished" department. around 15% of products that come in have defects. This can be from missing parts. For instance a headset arrives that is in great condition but missing the microphone. Your job would be to find the cheapest oem part available and ordering to complete the product while checking the profitability of doing so. The job will also include: - Cleaning products such as keyboards, mice and headsets. - Replacing worn or broken parts - ordering new wires To do the job you must have an understanding of "Tech repair" as we want the ability to be able to fix headsets that have one ear not working due to a wire becoming unsoldered for example and replace small parts on gaming accessories such as Xbox controllers. You will be provided with all the tools necessary for the job, a workstation and a friendly environment. We are NOT a corporate business and we believe in providing a relaxed working environment. The business is fairly new only being launched at the back end of 2021 so we are a growing company that gives you the opportunity to grow within the business. You may be asked to do things outside of the roll to benefit the business on some days while we are a small team. This could include but is not limited to. - Collecting goods from suppliers - Listing products with the listing team - Providing holiday cover for others where necessary. Ideally we are looking for someone who wants a steady job has a great attention to detail and if possible a passion for video games. If you think this is you then please get in contact with us.
