Vehicle Inspector

Established in 2009, G3 Remarketing t/a G3 Vehicle Auctions Limited is one of the UK’s fastest growing vehicle remarketing and disposal management specialists.

With a new purpose-built industry leading facility which launched in January 2021, the business continues to reshape the expectations of physical and online auctions. The new centre complements our existing centre, providing two professional centres within the West Yorkshire region but serving a national audience.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To accurately and efficiently appraise vehicles with G3’s own in-house inspection software. Identifying and noting damage to vehicles both internally and externally.
- G3 Assured” - checking basic mechanical components in accordance with our 30-point check.
- Inspecting and imaging vehicles accurately and to specific industry standards i.e NAMA, BVRLA.
- Driving the auction vehicles around site and lining up and preparing the vehicles for the auction.
- Dealing with customers collecting or delivering vehicles to site.
- Recommending vehicles for refurbishment.

**PRINCIPAL CHALLENGES/DIFFICULTIES**
- Weather conditions can be challenging.
- Working under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:

- Experience within the automotive industry, basic mechanical knowledge and knowledge of the BVRLA / NAMA guidelines would be an advantage, however full training will be given.
- Experience of using handheld electronic devices and computers is essential but training will be provided on using company specific programmes.

- Flexibility, as this job may require you to carry out additional hours with occasional weekends and bank holidays depending on business requirements.
