**SELF EMPLOYED COURIER**

Menzies Distribution are looking for Self Employed Owner Driver’s to join our team. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers on a self-employed basis, providing a first-class service with our team in Maidstone. The contractcovers a 7-day operation, packing and delivering in the early hours of the morning. Please note, start time from 1:30am until finish, expected finish between 7:00am - 8:00am dependent on route
- Earn £700 - £900 per week, with further earnings potential available.
- 3.5t vehicle required (transit or similar) with business insurance.
- Contractor holder must be able to substitute themselves with a relief driver when unable to operate the route themselves.
- Job entails carrying out route preparation, loading own vehicle and delivery of product to between 20-40 customers per day (same delivery points each day), and returning to depot with any unsold product.

**SELF EMPLOYED COURIER REQUIREMENTS**

- The ‘Right To Work’ in the UK with no serious unspent criminal convictions
- A full UK/EU/EEA driving licence
- 3.5-tonne van (Transit or similar)
- Goods In Transit Insurance
- Public Liability Insurance
- Hire and Reward Insurance
- No previous disqualifications NI, DD or DR
- Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi-drop driving role
- Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work
**PLEASE NOTE**

If you do not currently own or have access to a 3.5-tonne vehicle (Transit or similar) you must be in a financial position to be able to lease or purchase one.You will also need to have all insurances (Goods in Transit, Public Liability & Hire and Reward)in place prior to starting.
