**Description of Team / Department**

**Purpose of / Responsibilities of the role**:
The right person will be enrolled in a blended learning program where you will gain an NVQ Level 3 through a mixture of on the job experience and planned training. You will be in college approximately one day a fortnight (although this may be in week long blocks) and the rest of the time you will be working closely with an experienced plant fitter in our Newton Abbot Plant, as well as travelling to various sites to attend breakdowns. This qualification will help you to learn how to service and repair Concrete Plants and equipment. You will be working with our plant fitter day to day, to gain a varied range of skills including welding and hydraulics. You will benefit from a range of different situations and will have access to a wide range of plant, tools and equipment.

**Skills / Experience**

4 GCSE grade C or above.

A keen interest in Plant Technology.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication skills.
