**Demolition Estimator**

We are looking for a Full Time Experienced Demolition Estimator providing tender management, pricing & associated activity to achieve successful conversion to order. Activities post order to include effective contract review to then hand over to site delivery team.

**Job Role**:

- Reviewing Tenders with Pre-construction Team including legal and contractual requirements
- Decision to price based upon tender particulars
- Contribute towards obtaining additional information for pricing as required
- Pricing a variety of demolition tenders from first principles
- Issue & management of specialist sub-contractor enquiries for estimating purposes
- Site visits as required
- Co-ordination of supporting tender information as required
- Document Control of Tender Information (including drawings) & Filing
- Quote chasing & conversion working with Team
- Providing clear and concise qualifications / clarifications
- Contribute to Quality submissions regards method statements and other quality information.
- Feedback on sub-contractor pricing performance
- Presentation of tender pricing to Directors and team
- Finalisation of costs and submission of tender bids
- Attendance at Project Handover Meetings & effective handover to Contracts team
- Attendance at post tender meetings as required
- Collate feedback on actual costs on completed projects from commercial teams

**Key Skills**:

- Ability to work to deadlines
- Commercial & contractual awareness
- Knowledge of demolition techniques, site protocols and project delivery
- Knowledge of H&S / Environmental requirements on demolition projects (CDM regs, H&S at work act, Asbestos Awareness etc)
- Knowledge of temporary works design protocols & procedures (BS 5975:2011)
- Meeting & Negotiating Skills
- Labour, Plant & Material Outputs
- Organisational & Time Management Skills
- CSCS Card / CCDO Card and Asbestos Awareness
- Good IT skills with Microsoft and other software
- Driver’s license

**Location of work**:

- Saltley, Birmingham

**Education**:

- Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Demolition: 5 years ideally
