We have an amazing opportunity for someone like you who's eager to take on a challenging yet exciting role. As our clients Commercial Gas / HVAC Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across various site locations.It's a key position, as you'll be the first point of contact for all maintenance requirements across your assigned sites.
Your primary goal will be to complete technical repairs and PPMs, while ensuring that all compliance paperwork is always up to date. You'll be expected to maintain the highest standards, complete all work in a timely and cost-effective manner, and always adhereto our clients Company Health and Safety policy.
**Here are some of the key responsibilities of the role**:

- Meet the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timeframes and ensure all necessary paperwork is accurately completed in line with procedures.
- Respond quickly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk, assess job requirements, and carry out repairs where necessary.
- Prioritize maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed response times.
- Follow laid-down procedures when ordering spares.
- Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and inform the Line Manager promptly, providing recommendations for suitable replacements.
- Maintain up-to-date compliance documentation.
- Complete surveys and reports as required by management.
- Carry out minor alterations and installations within your technical competence, in line with current specifications.
- Attend relevant training courses to keep up-to-date with technical developments.
- Work with a standby rota of 1 in 4 Week/Weekends.
- Ability to work with and understand over door hectares, AHUs, Pumps, and Motors.

**We're looking for someone who possesses**:

- Relevant experience within Commercial Gas/HVAC is essential.
- Must have Commercial Gas Safe qualifications.
- F Gas would be preferred but not essential.
- Minimum GCSE/Standard Grade level education.
- High standard of repairs and maintenance.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team or independently.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Fast and efficient work rate.
- Ability to respond to service call requests within agreed response times.
- Adherence to the PPM schedule within agreed timescales.
- Maintenance of Health and Safety policy.

- Basic Salary: £37,142 - £41,785
- Standby payments of £161.74 per week.
- Overtime paid at a premium.
