Job Title: Production Dispatch Operator
Location: Droitwich, (WR9)

**Salary**: £24K
Hours: 7.00am - 4.00pm
Contract Type: Permanent
A leading manufacturing company based in Droitwich are seeking a Production Dispatch Operator to join their expanding team on a permanent basis. This fantastic opportunity offers the chance to work for an organisation who are market leaders in their field.Along with attractive working hours & free parking you will assist the Production Supervisor with the day-to-day running of Goods In and Quality Control which are essential to the smooth running of the production department.
As a Production Dispatch, you will be responsible for:

- Maintain correct stock levels for products picked by dispatch team
- Ensure all dispatched orders are planned and carried out in accordance with the operational schedule
- Ensure all deliveries are right first time
- Managing the receipting of all incoming goods into stores and decanting into correct area daily
- Verifies items shipped by matching bills of delivery quantities and noting discrepancies
- Unload deliveries as well as preparing and completing orders for delivery
- Manage cleanliness and efficient use of dispatch space in the unit and containers
- Daily forklift checks
- Flexibility of start and finish time if needed to accommodate installation team requirements
- Highlight to Production Administrator on any shortfall in programme, delivery, stock, equipment, and tools required to complete tasks
- Ensure any unsafe acts or practises are highlighted immediately to Production Administrator
The ideal Production Dispatch operator will:

- Hold a valid Counterbalance certificate (Not essential)
- Have previous experience working in a similar role as a Production Dispatch/Stock Controller would be beneficial.
- Experience of working in a warehouse environment
- An understanding of a 3rd party logistics operation
- A working knowledge of Health & Safety in a site/warehousing environment
- Numeracy and literacy skills with the ability to accurately complete paperwork
- Ensure quality control is maintained.
- An aptitude for IT & Microsoft packages
