**Catering Assistant / Restaurant and Canteen Staff**with good interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to interact with customers and serve food from behind a counter is required for an award-winning bespoke catering company.

**NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**

Previous catering experience is preferred, although not essential. However, having a positive, can-do attitude with a friendly and helpful approach when interacting with customers is essential.

**SALARY**:£9.70 per Hour

**LOCATION**:Doncaster, South Yorkshire

**JOB TYPE**:Part-Time, Permanent

**WORKING HOURS**:20 Hours per Week on a variety of shift patterns on a rota basis

**JOB OVERVIEW**

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Catering Assistant / Restaurant and Canteen Staff with good interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to interact with customers and serve food from behind a counter.

Working as a Catering Assistant / Restaurant and Canteen Staff you will be part of an award-winning catering company offering bespoke catering services across different Business and Industry sectors. Your duties will involve predominately servicing foodto customers from behind a counter. You may also be involved with occasional food prep, such as making sandwiches etc.

As a Catering Assistant / Restaurant and Canteen Staff you will join a professional and experienced team who provide exceptional catering standards and an exemplary service ethos. Supporting the Catering Manager, you will help deliver a fantastic, attentiveand considerate service to all customers.

Although predominately based in Doncaster, you will also be required to work from the Worksop site, so own transport is essential.

**DUTIES**

Your duties as a Catering Assistant / Restaurant and Canteen Staff will include:

- Serving customers food from behind a counter
- Occasional food prep, making sandwiches etc.
- Helping to deliver fantastic, attentive and considerate customer service
- Undertake all mandatory and company training as required
- Help keep the work and customer areas clean, tidy and secure at all times
- Ensure a safe working environment

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Communicate well with a wide range of customers and fellow Team Members
- Understand that food safety and health and safety are a crucial part of a catering service
- Eager to learn and can work as part of a dynamic team
- Follow instructions but are not scared to make your own decisions for what’s best for the customer
- Catering experience is preferred - but a positive, can-do attitude is essential
- Have own transport
