An interesting, fast-paced job has arisen to join a growing medical company on a 12-month fixed term contract (with possibility of permanence). Working as a stand-alone management accountant, you will be dealing with accounts from a range of countries andsizes and must be confident in your skills.

The ideal person will be fully ACCA or CIMA qualified, running year and month end accounts, system migration projects, and daily accounting activities. They will be able to competently manage themselves and have the exposure and responsibility in their previouswork to support this.

Upon completion of the contract you will receive a 10% bonus of your agreed salary to thank you for your work

**Job description for Management Accountant**
- Full control of both purchase and sales ledger (including-but not limited to
- credit control and supplier payments).
- Reconciliation of bank and balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in multiple currencies.
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Provide any information required to ensure accurate statuary and tax reporting to company auditors/advisors in a given deadline.
- Work together with the CFO regarding improvements and forecasting within finance.
- Monitor actual and expected performance against forecasts.
- Liaising with the budget holders.
- Prepare and post month end journals.

**Job skills required for Management Accountant**
- At least 6 years of experience in system migration and year + month end accounts.
- Competently lead projects.
- ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Experience or drive to work in multi-currency accounts.
- A self-supported outlook and ability to self-manage - work independently without need for aid.
