**High Level Teaching Assistant**
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant seeking a role with more responsibility? Or already working as a High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) & seeking a new adventure?
Teaching Personnel have been approached by the Head at a vibrant secondary school in Reading to recruit for a full-time High Level Teaching Assistant. The school are seeking an individual with strong classroom management skills & a passion for education.This role incorporates the duties of a Teaching Assistant; supervising group activities, motivating & encouraging pupils & managing challenging behaviour. A High-Level Teaching Assistant has extra responsibilities that include covering Teachers planned absences,teach classes on their own & enable Teacher’s time to plan & mark their work.

Requirements to be a High Level Teaching Assistant
**_
- You must already be a Teaching Assistant or worked a similar role
- Have classroom-based experience
- Excellent communication skills & the ability to relate to people of all ages & backgrounds
- Patience & the ability to manage challenging behaviour
- Good literacy, numeracy & IT skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
