**The Role**

We need a talented graphic designer to join our expanding team of professionals. The role will be varied but include a lot of traditional design work such as creating leaflets, brochures and sales material as well as digital assets. You will be supported by other creative personnel in the timely and professional presentation of key information to promote the business and reach new audiences.

The product that we market is varied but largely designed for roadworks and construction industry.

Whilst its unlikely that no two days will be the same, there will be an element of work which requires mínimal creative flair and a greater focus on clear communication.

The right person for this role will be passionate about design and seeks fulfillment in completing tasks in accordance with an effective brief.

A self-starter with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and high attention to detail will make you a true asset to the business.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Create specification sheets for key products
- Create materials by hand or use software to generate illustrations, layouts and designs
- Ensure adherence with company brand guidelines
- Suggest and propose ideas for improvements to current marketing material
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Execute and complete all work to a high standard.
- Capture the right information in order to be able to complete work from an effective brief
- Be adept at forging alliances with colleagues in other departments
- Manage in-house repository of design assets
- Production on in-house communications
- Management of production of material including liaison with suppliers e.g. printers
- Provide support with the creation of material for the website
- Create design material for various channels including video and social media
- Ad hoc or additional tasks as reasonably required by the business
- Support Product Design Engineer in creating accurate product information
- Generating drafts and mockups of proposed designs for the client to review and make revisions as requested.
- Liaise manufacturers on details of products e.g. size and dimensions.

**Skills and competencies**

**Essential**
- Excellent Adobe Creative Suite Skills
- Ability to use PC
- Demonstratable experience executing design work to a brief
- Ability to communicate ideas, concepts and concerns after consulting with relevant department heads.

**Advantageous**
- Experience of construction or fleetindustry (or otherwise relevant)
- Ability to produce, direct, film and edit videos
- Experience in designing and sending HTML-based content.
- Experience working with CMS systems

- Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Graphic design: 3 years (preferred)
