We at Pod Talent are very excited to be partnering with an international drinks business based in Surry on a Distribution Planner role to join their growing logistics team. The Distribution Planner will be accountable for ensuring that the service provided by 3PL partners is consistent with the contract terms, whilst taking ownership of the 3PL improvement plan to ensure that opportunities to reduce cost are identified andfind innovative ways to add value to customers.

As a Distribution Planner, your responsibilities would be:

- Control the UK secondary distribution with the 3PL
- Work with the Demand Planning team to resolve problem sales orders
- Communicate a daily view of goods-in and goods-out planning to enable prioritisation decisions to be made by the management team
- Quality control liaison with 3PL providers
- Ensure all carrier delays and incidents are logged correctly
- Achieve on time and in full service metrics for all customers
- Provide updates to the Customer Demand Planning team to ensure customers can be kept up to date on delivery delays
- Work with the 3PLs to ensure that all failures are communicated
- Work closely with the Reverse Logistics Coordinator and occasionally provide them with cover when necessary

You'll fit right in if you have:

- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP and Excel skills
- Supplier relationship management exposure
- Experience working within fast-moving-consumer-goods business
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Graduate degree or above
