We are currently recruiting for a fantastic company based in Washington who specialise in Plastic Injection Moulding.

We are looking to recruit a Production Support person to start asap, on a temporary to permanent contract.

**Shift & Salary**:

- Monday to Friday
- 7:30am - 4:30pm
- £10.90 per hour
- Temp to permanent contract

**Role purpose**:

- To work within the Production management team.
- Supporting all functions of the Materials, Scheduling and Logistics functions whilst also supporting other functions on occasion.
- The role will assist Planning, Warehouse and Logistics with administrative work whilst also providing cover and support for these roles.

**Main duties and responsibilities include**:

- **Safety First Environment -** Work in a safe and responsible manner to ensure the Safety and Wellbeing of yourself and colleagues. Report and escalate any accidents, incidents, concerns and/or abnormal situations to your line manager
- **Production / Scheduling -** Support the Materials and Scheduling Controller, Production Planner and Warehouse and Logistics Controller in preparing documentation for production runs, including works orders and labelling packs.
- **Materials, Scheduling and Logistics - **Support the relevant Controllers
- **Continuous Improvement -** Support Company, departmental and section improvement activities. Contribute with ideas to support efficiency improvement, waste elimination and a safer working environment. Support the upcoming projects that a due to begin.
- **5S/Housekeeping -** Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in line with the standards set out in the work area state of reference.
- **Conduct and Behaviour -** Behave in a professional manner at all times, treat your colleagues with dignity and respect, work in line with Group Guiding Principles and to the standards set out in the Employee Handbook.

**Job Types**: Temporary contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £10.90 per hour
