Data Modeller or Senior Data Modeller for a global leader in data analytics to work mostly remotely, but locally to either their Edinburgh (city centre) or London (near Bank Station, Zone 1) office.

The company work with companies all over the world to provide them with the data that they need to make critical decisions. Although they work across all sectors, the energy sector is their area of speciality and there is a huge push towards renewable energy(so you get to do good with your work).

You'll be joining a specialist team of Data Modelers (which is pretty rare), who have a range of different backgrounds. Having experience creating data models is critical but you might have done this in a role as a Software Engineer, or as a Data Engineeror even a Database Administrator

You'll need to have most of the following skills/experience:
**Experience building data models

**Relational databases

**Understanding and extracting raw data

**Speaking to data owners and users to gather requirements

**A (theoretical) ability to take a physical model and convert it into data

Bonus skills/experience:
**Data architecture knowledge

**Data warehouse experience

**NoSQL

This role will be mostly remote, but the Data Architect (who is super supportive) is keen to get the team together regularly in person for collaborative meetings etc. This will look like roughly once a month in the office, so you do need to be comfortabletravelling to either Edinburgh or London - ideally you are either based in Scotland or London.

Salary wise, this role can offer up to £65,000 (depending on experience and seniority), and they have an impressive benefits package - 35 hour working week, 10% bonus, 8% pension, share options, private medical, income protection, strong sick pay policyand more.
