**Salary: £26,246 - £29,998 based on 35 hours per week**

The Onboarding Team Leader will oversee and manage the successful onboarding of new hires, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported from day one. In this dynamic role, you'll guide the Onboarding Team to deliver exceptional front-line customer service, coordinating and facilitating the entire onboarding process.

You'll organize daily tasks, support the Onboarding Manager with various duties, and ensure compliance with employment policies and procedures. Your leadership will be key to creating a positive experience for managers and new starters, setting the stage for their success at the Red Cross. Additionally, you'll ensure the team is well-supported and informed about any changes to processes, procedures, and systems, fostering a dynamic and responsive work environment.

**Wondering about a day in the life on an OnBoarding Team Leader? You'll**:

- Provide Leadership to the Onboarding Team, providing guidance, daily support, and training as needed.
- Ensure that the team’s advice and guidance are consistent with pre-employment legislation and BRC best practices.
- Monitor new starters' onboarding progress to ensure processes meet service level agreements and adhere to policies and procedures.
- Act as the first point of contact for the Onboarding Team regarding process issues, complaints, or escalations.
- Support the onboarding process by overseeing the end-to-end journey, including job offers, contracts, pre-employment checks, and employee data management. Ensure processes are efficient, accurate, and compliant.
- Help create a positive employee experience by providing timely and accurate communication, feedback, and support.

- Knowledge of onboarding processes and best practice
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear advice on complex issues
- Ability to work in busy environment and to agreed operational timescales
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills
- Problem solving skills and continuous improvement mindset
- Experience in Recruitment/Onboarding or HR related role.
- Experience in leading and developing a team.
