Construction Labourer

**Scale: £11 (must be willing to travel to sites on a daily basis)**

1st site: Redcar and Darlington but must be able to travel

**3 month contract first with the opportunity to be permanent once you are a good worker**

Hinds Building Services is an exceptional construction firm offering a wide range of services to the residential, commercial and charity sectors. With combined working experience in the senior management team of over two decades, we promise and deliver quality on all our projects. Therefore, we have such a high rate of repeat customers.

Hinds Building Services is looking for one labourer on a three month contract to work on their sites across the North East, especially those who are able and willing to work in Darlington, Durham, Stockton, Newcastle and Northallerton. You will be paid a very competitive salary. HBS is a Living Wage Employer.

The contract can be renewed for another six months and then you will have the chance to be a permanent employee.

All labourers must have PPE (Hard Hat, Safety Boots, Hi-vis, Gloves and Glasses)

**You must have your own transportation and be willing to travel across the North East and North Yorkshire. Fuel allowance provided but is not intended to cover full fuel bill.**

**Requirements**:
(i) Minimum of 4 years’ experience on construction sites (getting the job done right on the first occasion)

(ii) Must have own transportation and willingness to travel (travel bonus provided)

Person requirements:
(i) Hard working and high-quality work to support the construction team

(ii) Non-smoker (preferred)

(iii) Punctual

(iv) Courteous to clients but work focussed

(v) Ability to work unsupervised

(vi) Ability to find practical solutions

**Job Types**: Temporary contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Labouring: 2 years (preferred)
