**Marston Foods is an award winning desserts manufacture situated in the lovely Somerset countryside on the outskirts of Frome. We are looking for somebody to take on a new position as a ‘Business Administrator Apprentice’. This will be a Monday to Friday role 9am to 5pm, initially supporting the purchasing team but may include experience elsewhere in the Company.** **The role will include**: ¨ Placing ingredient, packaging and consumable orders with approved suppliers. ¨ Using our Marston Foods Purchasing Excel documents to plot Production requirements, plan deliveries and place orders. ¨ Liaising with approved suppliers, as and when necessary. ¨ Controlling stock levels and reducing wastage. ¨ Monitoring supplier OTIF performance and highlighting any areas of concern to the procurement manager. ¨ Liaising with the appropriate departments on any stock related issues. ¨ Controlling and monitoring the overhead spends that the procurement department are responsible for. ¨ Maintaining accurate information in a number of Excel databases. ¨ Assisting the Procurement Manager with data inputting and variance checks. ¨ Preparing delivery schedules for the "Goods In" department. ¨ Attending end of month stock takes. Schedule: - Monday to Friday
