Volunteer Catering Assistant

**Description**:
Our kitchens are at the heart of Naomi House & Jacksplace with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We are looking for volunteers to assist our Chefs in providing the fantastic catering service we provide to our patients, families and staff.
**This role involves**:
- Laying tables
- Operating small dishwashers
- Helping maintain the Cleaning Rota - fridges, work surfaces, store cupboards, various kitchens across the buildings
- Re-stocking / filling containers
With something always going on in the kitchen, the role is varied and fun. So, if you are looking for a volunteer role once a week or once a fortnight, we would love to hear from you.
We will provide a thorough training and Induction programme and offer lots of help and support to ensure you have a great volunteering experience and really feel valued.

**Naomi House & Jacksplace are hospices supporting life-limited and life-threatened children, young adults and their families from across the central South of England.**
Naomi House nursing and medical staff provide individualised care that helps to enhance short lives and supports families to make the most of their precious time with their children.
Jacksplace is the only hospice for young adults in the South of England. The medical and care teams offer specialist care, often over many years, and uphold the dignity and independence of young adults accessing the service.
Naomi House & Jacksplace will be there on good days, difficult days and last days.
