Accounts Assistant

The role of Accounts Assistant will be **based at head office on Boucher Crescent** and is a permanent, full-time office position.

**What will I be doing day-to-day?**

You will be working within a small accounts team dealing with a group of 4 motor retail sites. the role will focus on cash management and Sales Ledger functions. In a bit more detail, your key responsibilities will include:

- Cash handling & Processing lodgements
- Processing invoices, statements & full maintenance of the Sales ledger
- Allocation of funds to Sales Ledger accounts
- Ensuring payment queries are followed up and payment received
- Liaise with other departments to reconcile queries
- Nominal account reconciliations
- Carrying out ad hoc projects and any other reasonable duties as required by Management
- Operation of company policy in all aspects and administration within the Accounts dept.

**Qualifications/Criteria required**:

- Relevant experience within a busy accounts related role (minimum 1 year desirable)
- Experience within the motor trade an advantage but not essential
- Educated with a minimum of 5 GCSE's inc. English and Maths (Grade A*-C), A level standard desirable but not essential
- Currently hold the independent right to work within the UK

**Remuneration**
- An attractive remuneration package is dependent on experience and ability
- The position is a permanent, full-time 37.5hrs role based in Boucher
- 30 days leave a year inc. stats
- Workplace Company pension

**Salary**

£20,000.00 - £24,000.00 per year
