**Company**:
My client, a well-known Financial Services organisation, is seeking a Lead Network Engineer to join them in the City of London on a permanent basis. You will be required to be onsite 2 days a week which includes a dedicated Team day. This is an excitingtime to join as the organisation is currently undergoing a huge transformation including the build of a new trading platform and the adoption of Automation/DevOps tools.

Financial Services experience is a prerequisite.

**Role**:
This role supports and delivers connectivity services for the organisation, and you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of LAN/WAN/DC network services. Primarily focused on projects, you will work closely with Network Operations, Architectureand Project Management teams to implement project and support based deliverables based on specific requirements.

**The following are essential**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as an Engineer / Architect in a similar capacity
- Previous experience working as a Team Lead
- Demonstrable experience in VXLAN, Multicasting and Low Latency
- Experience in creating Low-Level Designs (LLD) and contributing to High-Level Designs (HLD)
- Appreciation of working in a highly regulated and fast-paced environment, with the ability to cope under pressure
- Innovative thinker and problem solver

**The following are desirable**:

- Exposure to Corvil / PTP

**Working Hours**:
The standard working hours are 9am - 6pm + On-Call

**Salary: £ Competitive Base Salary + On-Call + Bonus + Benefits**
