A well-known, leading London law firm are seeking an experienced Marketing and Business Development Assistant to join them on a permanent basis.

Within this role, you will be working closely with the Business Development Manager and wider team to raise the firms’ profile. You will identify and develop target clients, develop multi-channel marketing campaigns and will pitch to win and retain business.This role provides the opportunity to work autonomously in a friendly, well established team who will offer support and the chance to introduce new ideas, hone and develop your marketing/BD skillset and be involved in challenging and varied projects.

**Key responsibilities**
- Devising marketing strategies and plans
- Developing and executing cross-channel marketing campaigns on particular topics and aligned to particular sector groups with support of the BDM
- Liaising with the firm’s preferred PR agency on communications strategy for campaign, team and deal promotion
- Managing internal comms around new BD initiatives
- Drafting engaging marketing copy for new and existing web pages for selected sectors groups and initiatives
- Coordinating legal directory submissions and interviews
- Planning, managing and attending events
- Occasional support and managing client pitches; research, collating information and proofing
- Maintaining a library of credentials documents

**Person Specifications**
- Proficient in use of MS Office (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience of business development and marketing within a professional services firm (ideally a law firm)
- Developed communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills with ability to liaise effectively with internal clients and colleagues and external suppliers and consultants
- Excellent attention to detail. Accurate and thorough.
- Bring creativity and new ideas on formats and delivery is encouraged.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload
