**Chester Trade Parts Specialists - Van Sales Driver.**

**Van Sales Driver Role is to**:
Deliver goods to Accident Repair Centres and Independent Motor Traders within the Sales Territory Area. Promoting products and developing sales to customers whilst building business relationships and reputation for industry leading customer service levels.

**Van Sales Driver Role Duties**:
To work both individually and as part of the Sales Support Team

Ensure that the allocated delivery vehicle is roadworthy and that the relevant daily checks (Oil/Water levels) have been completed. Maintain vehicle interior and exterior cleanliness. Take responsibility for the security of your allocated vehicle, its keys and fuel card. Ensure any accidents or damage that occurs to the vehicle are reported.

Organise goods for despatch against Sales invoices, inspect goods and load the delivery vehicle in a manner that protects goods from transit damage. Correctly complete the delivery log and deliver goods to customers in an efficient, timely manner, meeting the customers qualified delivery expectation. Collect goods for return as requested in line with the Company’s returns policy.

Obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery and collect payment where required. Take responsibility for money collected and pay in to the Centres Administrator/Supervisor before you finish your shift.

Fully participate in promotional activity, develop sales from our existing customer base, selling additional products and reporting new business leads.

Carry out Warehouse duties when required - putting away stock, order picking and perpetual inventory checks.

**Skills/Qualifications**

Full UK Drivers Licence, Professional and courteous driver, Geographical Knowledge, Route Planning, Accuracy and Numeracy Skills, Motivation for Customer Service, Selling to Customer Needs and Meeting Sales Objectives.
