Our client is one of the UKs leading landscaping, highway maintenance, fencing and vegetation management/maintenance contractors based in the Midlands covering a Client base throughout the UK. Due to continued expansion our client is now recruiting for aQuantity Surveyor to join their commercial team at their Midlands office.

Quantity Surveyor applicants will need to be organised and capable of working on their own initiative to carry out scheduled works on a variety of sites, multiple projects and multiple clients. All work is required to be completed to tight deadlines.

**Quantity Surveyor - Accountabilities**:

- Being the commercial point of contact for our client to all customers.
- To produce the valuations for all works with operational managers and submit them in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Record, monitor and review the performance of all contracts.
- Secure payments from clients in accordance with contract terms.
- To ensure all commercial queries are dealt with in a timely manner to aid cash flow.
- Production and reporting of all commercial information required by Managers and Board.
- Travel to meetings with customers, clients and internal meetings essential.

**Quantity Surveyor - Requirements**:

- Quantity Surveying qualification.
- Strong working knowledge with NEC forms of contract.
- Responsible for managing cost and value and ensuring invoicing is completed.
- Good communication and organisation skills.
- Working as a member of a larger team with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Experience in the Soft Landscaping, Grounds Maintenance / Vegetation Management, Highways, Fencing industry would be advantageous.
