Change Lead

**What you’ll be doing**

The role is responsible for ensuring the success of the transformation programmes by delivery of all business change activities through the business change team.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Deliver transformational technology change within an agile programme to a complex operating environment undergoing organisational changes at the same time
- Direct, delegate, coach and empower a team with varying degrees of skills and experience to deliver high quality business change deliverables to testing timescales
- Deliver to a defined business change strategy within a controlled programme budget
- Take full accountability and responsibility for driving resolution/mitigation of any critical and, or high priority workstream and programme RAID to enable effective business change management.
- Deliver senior stakeholder engagement on business change delivery/status through the Senior Governance Group, Steering Committee, Trade Union, and cross transformational programme boards.
- Hold the deployment roadmap and accountability for the critical path to change deployment.
- Support the core programme objectives, enable benefits [cost saving] through effective delivery of key benefit triggers into the business and facilitate identification of emerging benefits.
- Work collaboratively with the programme / programme workstreams, ensure business change are at the table and enabling in an agile delivery framework.
- Execute Go - No Go governance, attain business commitment, sponsor engagement and steering committee endorsement for GO decisions.
- Execute business change cutovers, guiding the business and the programme / team through a successful transition at go live

**Who are we looking for?**

We are looking for a strong leader and strategic thinker, with expert communication skills who is confident working with senior stakeholders and with the ability to set priorities in order to deliver to deadlines.

**What you should bring to the role**
- Extensive experience steering business change within transformational programmes
- Extensive experience of directing, delegating, coaching, and empowering a team with varying degrees of skills and experience to deliver high quality business change deliverables
- Considerable experience of change management opportunities associated with: Implementing continuous change through agile delivery; Implementing technology change into a key services business and Managing change into a business already under organisational change / re organisation
- Knowledge of how change management fits within a Waterfall and Agile project delivery framework.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in creation / execution of change management strategy.
- Experience in directing migration and cutover activities that affect an entire organisation.
- Experience of senior stakeholder management with a diverse range of challenging stakeholders, overcoming resistance to change, and demonstrating the ability to gain trust.
- Experience of managing and mitigating high priority and critical business change RAID.
