The HireWorks are currently working with a company who specialise in E-Commerce Distribution to assist with the recruitment of a Warehouse Assistant.

**Role Specific**:
The role is a key part of the wider Warehouse team, you will be required to work both individually and within a larger team. Throughout the day the requirements will vary from picking, packing, and shipping domestic orders.

The role will ensure the smooth running of the operations and ensure all customer demands are met in the most professional efficient manner.

You will be expected to lift a large quantity of stock, walk, or stand for most of the shift and wear the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).

**In addition to this you will be responsible for**:
Moving merchandise from one place to another using manual pallet trucks.

Unloading and loading vehicles.

Compliance with relevant Health and Safety standards.

Picking and packing goods to a high level of accuracy whilst maintaining our high standards.

Performing accurate goods in checks and put away.

Labelling packaging, products, unpacking and repacking goods, without damage.

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by performing general housekeeping where necessary.

**To be successful in this role you should have**:
Previous warehouse experience is advantageous.

Good time keeping and organisational skills.

A capable mindset, being able to carry out high intensity teamwork.

Good attention to detail.

A motivated and hard-working attitude.

**Working Hours**:
3 week rotating shift pattern as follows:
Week 1: 07:00 until 15:00 - Monday to Friday.

Week 2: 09:00 until 17:00 - Monday to Thursday, 08:00 until 16:00 - Saturday & Sunday.

Week 3: 13:00 until 21:00 - Tuesday to Friday.
