Our Client is the UK's biggest end-to-end commercial vehicle fleet management business managing and maintaining a fleet of 90,000 vehicles across 81 locations.
They have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their team in the Bristol area on a full-time basis, being Monday to Friday day shifts, no weekend work, everything provided including Van, Fuelcard, Tools and Mobile Phone.
The Mobile Vehicle Technician will be responsible for conducting motor vehicle repairs on a range of LCV's for external customers, including the inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of all types of mechanical assets.
In return, the Mobile Vehicle Technician for the Bristol area can expect a basic salary of £30,508, 5% Employer Pension Contribution, 2 x Life Assurance Cover, 22 Days Annual Leave (increasing with tenure), Free MOT's, Reward & Recognition Schemes, Health andWellbeing Schemes plus much more.
Role & Responsibilities
- Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation
- Setting and operating of tools and equipment
- Accurately record time to complete jobs and associated details
- Use of skills and performance of other work within normal grade/job skills
- Dealing directly with customers
Skills & Experience
- You must have a level 2 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Principles or equivalent
- Experience in the automotive maintenance industry
- Proficient fault finding / diagnostic skills - Ideal
- Be an experienced Vehicle Technician
- Ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle repair and servicing
- Ability to plan and priorities effectively and work within tight deadlines
- Must have worked across passenger vehicles, mini business and LCV's
- Must be able to work safely unsupervised and use own initiative
- Willingness and ability to travel
