We now have an opportunity for a Multi Skilled Carpenter to join our Property Services department to carry out day-to-day, repairs, void works, cyclical and planned maintenance activities.
**The role**
You will specialise in providing with carpentry and joinery services and support the maintenance team in providing a quality maintenance service and an excellent customer service for Squared customers and support the maintenance team in providing a quality maintenance service whilst providing excellent customer service for Squared customers.
Some of your duties will include:
- Responsible for layout, installation, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures and fixtures working with building materials (most often wood).
- Build/install window frames, doors, staircases and fences. Going to selected retailors and obtaining the materials you require for the works.
- Installing kitchens and bathrooms including material preparation and handling.
Additionally, you will provide support in analysing and improving the processes, and work to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
**About you**
We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in carpentry and joinery. You will also have experience of working as a multi-skilled tradesperson with experience in plumbing, painting, tiling, plastering repairs, light groundworks such as installing fence panels, flooring repairs, drylining, ironmongery repairs etc.
Due to the nature of the role a full driving licence will be required.
