Yard Foreman

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the yard area, including removing debris and waste.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials from vehicles and ensuring they are stored correctly.
- Operate basic machinery as required, such as forklifts or pallet jacks (training will be provided).
- Conduct regular inspections of the yard to identify any hazards or maintenance needs.
- Operation of company till to ensure stock levels are recorded and maintained
- Face to face communication with general public
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Follow instructions from supervisors regarding daily tasks and priorities.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
- A valid driver's licence is advantageous for operating vehicles on site.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety standards.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting heavy items when necessary.
- Good customer service skills
- Experience in use of POS advantageous

Pay: £11.44-£15.78 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
