We are seeking dedicated Family Support Worker to join our team. As a Family Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to families and children in need. as a family assessment centre, we have families staying with us for up to 12 weeks to be assessed on their parenting skill and abilities to keep their children safe, this is a very confidential role. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others and contribute to their well-being.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide direct support to individuals in various tasks and activities.
- Assist in personal care one to one and group work
- Support individuals with medication management as required.
- Help with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
- Assist in mobility and transportation needs.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals.
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and professionals.
- Document and report on individual progress and any concerns or incidents.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with families/children is essential.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards individuals in need of support.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and guidelines accurately.
- Patience, understanding, and a positive attitude towards challenges.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and needs.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.

This role is a speciality role and applicants MUST have at least level 3 in childcare / social care.

Pay: £28,000.00 per year
