**More about the role**
We are looking for a confident, resilient and friendly Support Worker to join a team working alongside people with autism encouraging them to live as independently as possible and to be part of their local community. You must be reliable, diligent and happy to work independently and as part of a team. As a Support Worker you will promote positive health and well-being of the people that you support, enabling them to have a meaningful life and be involved in a range of activities chosen by the person supported. You might be required to work on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends and sleep in duties.
In particular, we are looking for someone to work across two services in South Liverpool, with good organisational and IT skills. This role will include supporting Tenants to access the community and help them to achieve their potential.
At Autism Initiatives we provide specialist services tailored to each individual. Experience is not essential, but a genuine passion to making a difference to the lives of people with autism, as well as a positive attitude, is key to being successful in this role. This is a truly rewarding role, with the opportunity for you to develop your skills and knowledge and fulfil your career aspirations.
Due to the needs of the service, a full driving licence is desirable.
**How do I apply?**
If you think you have what we are looking for and are interested in joining our team in Liverpool, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
Living with Covid, we continue to prioritise the safety of our employees and people we support. We provide appropriate PPE and support for vaccinations as part of our Infection Prevention Control Risk Assessments to reduce the risk of infection.
**We are committed to equal opportunities in employment and in service delivery.
