Are you an experienced Learning & Behaviour Mentor who has worked with students to support their learning and progress in school? If so we would like to meet you.

We are looking to appoint a Learning Mentor to support students daily around the school and classroom. You will be a mentor that can encourage the students and help them realise their full academic potential. You will be able to build strong rapports and be approachable and patient.

As a learning mentor, you'll work closely with individuals struggling with social, emotional or behavioural problems that affect their ability to learn.
- Provide a service to teaching and other staff, and address the needs of children and young people who need help to overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside the academy, to achieve their full potential.
- Work with a range of pupils, but give priority to those who need the most help, especially those experiencing multiple disadvantages, including able and gifted pupils experiencing difficulties.
- Target, help and support as part of a coordinated response by the school and other agencies to address a range of issues and bring about a positive sustainable changes with individual pupils and the school community as a whole.
- Support identified individuals to access the social and academic curriculum in the most effective way, appropriate to their needs and understanding.
- Support with the completion and return of statistical information to both the Local Authority and the Department for Education (DfE).

London Enterprise Academy is a mixed-gender secondary school for children aged 11-16, based in Tower Hamlets, East London. This free school was established in September 2014 and it opened with approximately 120 Year 7 pupils. It was set up by several school leaders and is managed by the London Enterprise Academy Trust. The school is open to children of all faiths and religious backgrounds.

In July 2022, Ofsted stated, “Pupils get the right support when they need it. Leaders work closely with external agencies, such as social services and community health experts, and this helps to ensure that expert help is on hand for pupils who are at risk of harm”.
