**Description**:
Head of Data Management

Our client, a large bank is looking to grow their group data team to enhance their digital strategy by securing key talent. The role will define and drive the implementation of core data management including standards, controls and target operating model.

Responsibilities include:

- Leading the team to transform and define standards and capabilities for Data Modelling, Metadata Management, Data Quality, Reference and Master Data
- Creating innovative strategy, frameworks and patterns for Data Management including Data Modelling, Data Quality, Metadata, Reference and Master Data
- Defining key objectives and managing a portfolio of initiatives that contribute to the delivery of the Company's Data Strategy
- Leading on thought leadership for automated Data Management tooling and driving collaboration internally to implement such tools
- Partnering with and supporting Data Management heads to meet business and strategic objectives
- Influencing senior stakeholders both internally and with external relationships

The ideal individual will have
- Proven track record leading the establishment of an enterprise-wide capability for Metadata, Data Quality, Master/Reference Data and Data Model management
- Experience of end to end delivery of strategy, securing investment, managing design and technology decisions, to overseeing implementation and embedding solutions
- Demonstrate programme management experience and identify and mitigate potential data risks
- Experience of Data Management Automation Technology and Vendors
- Passion for technology and exploring new techniques to address data management challenges
