Livn Furniture Group specialises in kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and commercial sector furniture.

The fastest growing furniture manufacturer in Scotland. With 50,000 ft2 factory and the very best CNC machines programmed through a central CAD/CAM system to make over 100,000 cabinets per year.

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a motivated and technically minded apprentice/assistant to support our Technical Lead in a multi-disciplinary role spanning **IT systems, database management, CAD/CAM, and manufacturing support**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in managing **SQL databases**, writing queries, and optimizing data workflows.
- Support **IT networking and infrastructure** (troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvements).
- Provide **IT support** for staff (hardware, software, and system issues).
- Learn and assist with **CAD/CAM software** for furniture design and manufacturing.
- Work with **machinery and production systems** (training provided).
- Solve technical challenges independently, with guidance from the Technical Lead.
- Help bridge gaps in **IT, networking, and database management**.

**Required Skills & Background**:

- **Computer Science/IT background** (degree, coursework, or self-taught experience preferred).
- Basic knowledge of **SQL/database management**.
- Understanding of **IT networking principles** (LAN, troubleshooting, infrastructure).
- Strong **problem-solving skills** - ability to tackle unique challenges with mínimal guidance.
- Comfort with **IT systems and software** (Windows, Office, remote support tools).
- Willingness to learn **CAD/CAM, machinery, and manufacturing processes** (training provided).

**Nice-to-Have (But Not Required)**:

- Familiarity with **manufacturing/engineering concepts**.
- Experience with **helpdesk or IT support**.
- Exposure to **ERP systems or production software**.
