**Sales Development Manager (Ireland and Scotland)**

**The role**
We are currently looking for a Sales Development Manager for our Irish and Scottish regions. You will be managing the development of the P&O Ferries B2B tourist business across Scotland and Ireland. You will be working with coach and tour operators, clubsand societies, strategic partners, loyalty schemes and travel agents making sure that we are the ferry company of choice for those organisations.
You will be managing a number of key accounts and working with them to develop a long term partnership that will maximise the commercial value to both organisations. You will also be tasked with developing new business and recognising opportunities thatwill lead to new commercial offerings across the P&O fleet.
You will be set targets and will be provided the equipment and training to make sure that you are hitting and exceeding these targets. You will also work with the team to provide commercial intelligence that will allow the B2B sales team become market leaders.
We are going through a huge transformation that will align our business to take advantage of the post covid world and your work will contribute to that success.
**This role will require regular travel to client's businesses across Ireland and Scotland.**

- Strong business development experience from within a B2B environment
- A track record in achieving commercial targets
- Fantastic negotiation skills
- Strong self motivation and the ability to manage their own day to achieve their goals
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to present to a variety of audiences.
