**Responsibilities**:

- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details.
- Process purchase orders into SAGE system.
- Monitor and manage the Accounts mailbox.
- Match purchase invoices with purchase orders.
- Process purchase invoices into SAGE system.
- Attach purchase invoices to the corresponding supplier accounts in SAGE.
- Check subcontractor recharge costs.
- Distribute invoices for authorisation.
- Reconcile supplier statements regularly.
- Make payments to suppliers and issue remittance advices.
- Process company credit card reconciliation.
- Scan and file invoices and job sheets regularly.
- Reconcile bank accounts.
- Perform other duties as required by the company.

**Key Competencies**:

- Excellent attention to detail.
- Conscientious, persistent, and professional approach.
- Ability to think flexibly and adapt to change.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

**Skills & Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role working in purchase ledger.
- Proficient in using MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Team player with a willingness to cover for other team members.
- A-C in GCSE Maths & English or equivalent.
- AAT qualification would be an advantage, but not essential.
