**Role Overview**
We are building a new **Crew Team** to support Ridgeway Centre’s growing programme of conferences, exhibitions, and events. As a Crew Member, you’ll be responsible for setting up, packing down, and performing light cleaning duties across our range of flexible event spaces - including our main auditorium (up to 580 capacity), breakout rooms, and training spaces.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring events run smoothly by creating clean, safe, and well-presented spaces for clients and guests.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Event Setup & Pack‑Down**:
- Set out / pack away chairs, tables, signage, and AV equipment.
- Reset and reconfigure rooms between events / users quickly and safely.
- Full auditorium setups and resets typically take up to 4 hours with a team.
**Light Cleaning Duties**:
- Clear rubbish, clean down surfaces, vacuum, and prepare spaces for client use.
- Maintain tidy public areas and restroom facilities
**Health & Safety & Reporting**:
- Follow safe manual handling procedures.
- Report maintenance or equipment issues promptly.

**Please note: this role is open to applicants aged 18 and over only**, due to the nature of the duties, shift times, and required independence in working.
**What We Offer**
- **£13.45 per hour**:
- **Supplement Pay** for acting as a Crew Shift Lead when needed (**+£2.50/hr on top of standard £13.45/hr**). The Crew Shift Lead will be designated per shift by Business Manager where multiple Crew Members working a shift together. The responsibility will be to co-ordinate team members and ensuring cleaning, reset, and handover tasks are completed thoroughly and on time
