Moffat Projects Fife (MPF), are searching for a skilled Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to aid our electrical department, working in accordance to the relevant Safety Regulations and departmental procedures, you will have to carry out a variety of different duties.

As our next Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, your Key Tasks/Activities/Responsibilities would be:

- Being a point of contact between MEP Compliance Team, NICEIC, Managers and where appropriate the client.
- Verifying all electricians’ inspection & testing results are inputted electronically on a timely manner, ensuring that due care and attention is maintained when verifying the results.
- Working as part of a team of qualifying supervisors to ensure high standards are being met.
- Being registered as the Qualifying Supervisor and being available for annual assessments by the NICEIC as prescribed within the rules of enrolment.
- Be responsible for inhouse test instrument monthly calibration verification.
- Provide technically sound knowledge, support and guidance to colleagues.

Skills required for this job role consist of:

- Experience with installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations
- Have the knowledge to install, repair, inspect & test electrical installations and have the ability to fill in correctly, the appropriate Electrical Certificate or Electrical Condition Report
- Be confident in communicating to managers, supervisors and electricians.
- You must be an electrically competent person with specific responsibility for the safety, technical standard and quality of electrical installation work.
- Be able to fault find and problem solve.
- Computer literate and competent in the use of word/excel/outlook
- Knowledgeable of current H&S legislation
- Be Organised and responsive with the ability to deliver under pressure

Essential qualifications:

- NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical services
- City and Guilds 2391, 2392 - Fundamental Certification, Inspection and Testing
- City and Guilds 2382 - (18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations)
- Knowledgeable of current H&S legislation
- Full Drivers Licence

Previous experience as a recognised qualified supervisor is desirable.

Salary is negotiable based on experience.
