**Client Details**
Our client is a c. £100 million turnover manufacturing business that is part of a large Group of companies based in Nottingham.
**Description**
As Commercial Finance Analyst, you will be working in the management accounts team, and will be working closely with the Commercial and Purchasing teams. This role is extremely varied, but is heavily focused upon analysing data to produce meaningful information,which you will communicate and present to non-finance stakeholders within the business and external customers. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- support the Commercial Team and the Finance Team
- collating and producing reports for the customer and non-finance stakeholder at the sites
- liaise with non-finance stakeholder at the sites and the customer, and support them both with understanding the reports
- assist with price file collation for the customer
- assist the Finance Team with revenue and gross contribution budgets, plans and forecasts
- assist the Finance Team with delivering Group Reporting requirements in full and on time
- assist with the local roll up of site material costs into the related finished products
- monitor and track income and costs for projects
- undertake ad hoc project work as and when necessary
**Profile**
- Have an interest in working in finance, which could be highlight by you studying Accounting and Finance at university or through you studying AAT or through you having some experience of working in finance
- Have good Excel skills i.e. V Look Ups and Pivot Tables
- Be a confident communicator, as this role will involve a lot of communication with senior key stakeholders, where you will be required the build working relationships and challenge decision making
**Job Offer**
This role is initially a 6 month contract covering maternity leave, but there might be opportunities within the finance team to become permanent. Our client is offering:
- A salary between £20,000 and £25,000
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
