We are delighted to be working with our global design agency client in their search for an outstanding **Senior Finance Manager**to join the team in the New York office

The role of the **Senior Finance Manager** is to carry out the management and financial accounting for the New York Studio. You’ll generate, manage, and report financial statements, and working closely with the Client Service team to minimizerisk and maximize financial performance.

Working alongside the Client Services team, you will guide and support them to efficiently and effectively manage the finance process both internally and externally. Assist the Chief Finance Officer with the creation of the annual budgets for the New Yorkstudio and work with the Client Services team to prepare weekly revenue forecasts**
**As Senior Finance Manager your responsibilities will include**:

- Implement and manage the financial controls of the Studio in order to minimize risk and improve financial performance.
- Manage the finances of the NY studio including: general ledger, cash book management, bank reconciliations, preparing monthly pre-payments and accruals, and preparation and posting of journals in order to prepare a financial statement for the leadershipteam.
- Manage the sales ledger process
- Weekly management of cashflow.
- Manage, monitor and report on budgets throughout the year
- Collaborate with accountants and provide accurate information for the preparation of tax
- HR - Administer employee benefits
- Adhoc reporting as needed.

**Senior Finance Manager Key Attributes Required**
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft excel including pivot tables, vlookups, functions, and external data connections.
- Paprika knowledge beneficial
- CPA qualified or working towards the qualification, or similar recognized accounting body.
- At least 5 years’ experience of working in a similar role, preferably at an SME.
- Proven experience of working in a Finance function and its regulatory environment.
- Understanding of the principles of corporate finance, economics, and accounting, risk management, treasury.
- Extremely well organized and able to effectively multi-task.
- Great analytical skills with the ability to convert data into compelling thought pieces / business justifications to support change.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- A self-starter, motivated good at problem solving.
