We are currently seeking a part-time permanent Supervisor to work in a local school.
**Schedule & details**:
- **Hours**: 16.25 hours per week
- **Schedule**: Monday to Friday 3:15pm - 6:30pm (term time only)
- **Salary**: £11,407 pro rata (FTE £28,088 based on 40 hrs) plus rolled up holiday pay
- **Contract**: Permanent
- **Start date**:As soon as possible
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness and sanitisation at a local School.
- Ensuring the wellbeing, training, performance and compliance of the Cleaning Team.
- Monitoring, replenishing and ordering of cleaning supplies and consumables as needed.
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and its appropriate use by the Team.
- Following safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe environment for the Team at all times.
- Collaborating with team members and management to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
- Be the first point of contact for the School, working very closely with the Management of the school and Management of Housekeeping Club.
- A true team player and a recognised leader who is able to engage their team.
- Hardworking, reliable, flexible, responsible and trustworthy.
- Able to achieve high standards of cleanliness with impeccable attention to detail.
- Able to complete tasks within allotted timescale and motivate the team to do so as well.
- Willing and able to complete an Enhanced DBS check with children barred list
**Requirements**:
- Prior experience of working in an organised and methodical way
- Prior experience of working as a cleaner and desire to progress further or experience working as a team leader in the cleaning/ hospitality industry.
- Prior experience of working with cleaning products and appropriate handling procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently and with your team to achieve company goals.
- Approachable and empathetic with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
