If you were already working in this compliance role, based on the trading floor, here are some of the things you would have done last week:

- Ongoing transaction monitoring process, including ComplyAdvantage alerts and sanction screening
- Investigating suspicious activity and any compliance breaches and where necessary escalating
- Assisting the settlements team with investigation of unexpected inward payments
- Screening of all outward payments to clients and third parties
- Assisting with client refreshes, documenting changes to business profiles, and ensuring all aspects of trading activity are within expectations

To succeed in this financial services position, you must have performed an AML role - specifically some transaction monitoring for corporate clients for either another FX/payments company or Fintech/start-up (desirable) or from within financial services.
