DHU actively supports the progression of the Urgent Care team with the potential to receive funded further education in areas such as Non-Medical Prescribing. DHU can help you build and enhance your Urgent Care skills and arm you for the demands of modern healthcare.

You will be responsible for the autonomous clinical assessment and subsequent treatment and/or referral of patients across a wide spectrum of clinical conditions within the Urgent Treatment Centres provided by DHU Health Care. There may be a requirement to work in other areas across the Urgent Care services in times of peak demand.

**You will need to meet the following essential criteria**:

- Registered with the NMC/HCPC/GPhC
- First Level Nurse or other AHP professional with level 6 degree qualifications
- Experience of working with PGDs, including understanding relevant legislation and NICE competency framework
- Experience of working in Urgent or Emergency Care
- Can show evidence of using autonomous physical examination and assessment skills in practice.
- Qualified and experienced in the management of minor illness and X-ray interpretation OR desire to complete training.
