As our Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll be instrumental in our Smart Metering team who are responsible for delivering the installation of Yorkshire Water’s Smart Meter programme. This exciting programme involves the installation of 1.3million meters and is critical to the region’s future supply needs. Your remit will be setting targets to the Task Teams and capturing progress, to report both internally and to our client.

For this role, we're really keen to bring in someone who is capable and confident to challenge poor workmanship with direct labour and subcontractors. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be part of our Smart Metering team. You’re not the type to shy away from responsibility. In this role, you will be inspecting works via video footage or on site. The role isn’t for someone who is afraid to communicate issues to Site Managers and clients.

**The Key Requirements...**
- Experience in the clean water industry is essential
- Good knowledge of Asset Standards
- Good communication skills - Both written and verbal
- Traffic management and street works knowledge preferable
- IT Literate - Word, Excel, Power Point
