The Potteries Care Home are looking for flexible Kitchen Assistants to join their Kitchen team.

0 hour contract to cover holiday and skickness

**The Role**
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen and related areas.
- Preparation of produce for mealtime, for example vegetable preparation and making of sandwiches
- Ensure correct storage of all dry and perishable produce.
- Safely storing cleaning materials
- Ensure all cooking utensils and pots are cleaned to the required standards
- Carry out any tasks assigned by the Head / Second Chef or Home Manager

We have our own Catering Academy to provide excellent training and induction programs for all new Catering Assistants and we will give you all that’s needed to have a successful career as a Catering Assistant with us. **The Potteries care home is located in the suburb of Broadstone, just a few miles from the centre of the beautiful seaside town of Poole.**

The care home is a short bus ride into Poole town centre and its many shops, cafes and beaches.

The Potteries, which opened in October 2013, is a purpose-built care home with all the latest facilities and a focus on luxurious living. On the ground floor, close to our reception you’ll discover a contemporary coffee shop, a cinema where we regularly show movie classics and a hair salon where residents can enjoy a pamper and a chat with the hairdresser.

Like all Care UK care staff, our experienced and dedicated care teams take pride in delivering the very highest quality residential, dementia and nursing care. They get to know every resident - their likes, dislikes and their life stories - and then create a personalised care plan that enables your loved one to maintain their independence and continue doing the things they love.
